Hi!
Thanks for the comments! Its really funny seeing the change from really fluffy to very skinny in person! Our multi was not happy about the whole situation though! Haha. We don't sell the raw fiber ourselves but I know some farms only do that rather than process it at all. I'm not sure how well it sells but there is a market for it from co-ops and anyone who wants to process it and spin it by hand. We have been processing everything ourselves from cleaning, to carding, to spinning and beyond! We just sell the finished knitted and felted products ourselves, but there is a big market for roving and yarn. The farm we board at has been doing very well as of late in the sale of both of these as more and more people are beginning to find out the wonder of alpaca! I would definitely recommend having alpacas and/or llamas. They are so docile and fun to work with and their fiber offers a lot of opportunities if you are in to the fiber arts.
