Jan-Feb is Coyote Mating Season
Our neighbors have seen coyotes in our area. We haven't had them on the farm since we have 18 dogs. 7 of our dogs are Great Pyrenees, they are 24 hour a day baby sitters for my goats and other livestock. They are wonderful dogs with great personalities. Fainting goats are probably one of the easiest animals for preditors to attack. They have no defense ability and they can't run to get away, when startled they fall over. The Great Prys live with and protect our goats. I can't say enough about them and would not have my goats without them in the pasture. always standing guard!
