Angel Wing
My peking duck is 4 weeks old. Her wing was bloody and sticking out. First I took her to the bath tub to wash up her wing. Next I headed for my computer. Yep, it's common and it's called Angel Wing. It says this is not a health problem and that you can fix it. So I do as they suggest. I get medical wrap that sticks to itself. It cost me $1.99. My husband held Snow while I tucked her wing and wrapped the "tape" around her body and over her wing. We put her down and she fell over, struggled and rolled on her back. I felt awful for her but withing a few minutes she mastered walking without her wings. I put her back in the kiddie pool, with straw, and her friends. She was just fine. I rewrapped her in the morning and gave her time with the wrap off so she could stretch her wings. By the end of day two her wing was tucked and doing fine. We fixed Snow's angel wing!
