1st now your weight limits for the show. Duroc are great growers and you may find your self holding her back to make the max weight limit. How old is your duroc now and how is she housed and where? What feed brand are you feeding? What type of feeders are going to use? If she starts to arch her back when eating move it up to keep her form. Weight every weekend if you can and weight you feed each feeding so you know if you need to cut back or pump it up. Brush often to get that dead skin off your pig. You need to know if you have to clip your hog for the show. Walk you hog in the morning and evening and get them use to being driven where you want them to go and not the other way around. I do not like using Dawn soap to was any of our son's show animals because it strips the oil in their hair. We like to spray all our hogs down every 3rd day with a solution of water, rubbing alchol and mineral oil to keep their skin in good condtion. It's a start and if you need more help drop me a line.
