Ducklings Our new Holderread ducklings arrived last week. They are growing soooo fast. We have four gray Runners from S and S Poultry in Chocowinity, N.C. that we picked up the week after Easter and five hatched from the dozen eggs that we also bought that week. We now are the proud owners of a flock of 21 Runners that are all off of Holderread stock. These ducklings are already great at catching bugs and spend the night under their heat lamp snapping up the many bugs that flock to the light. Our feed bill has been cut to the bone. Now if we could just teach the goats and llamas to catch bugs....we might be able to make this farm game profitable!
