It has been a really sad day here at Tyfton Acres. I rushed putting my new Indian Runners into the pen on the outside yesterday because they were too crowded in the brooder box. Two drowned last night in the water tub and it was not over their heads. If they had just stood up, they could not have drowned. Then this afternoon, for no apparent reason and with no warning, one of the five Royal Palm turkey poults that I bought the husband for Father's Day just fell over dead. He was perfectly ok an hour before when I cleaned the box. ....I guess some days are just better than others!
