Thank you for the warm welcome! Its been quite crazy around here this past week. For 4 out of 7 days our grazers decided the grass was greener on the other side of the fence. Obviously they are color blind...I cannot remember the last time we had rain, yes, it has been that long. And the grass is quite brown on the other side of that fence, which they find out but continue to "break out" in the cool evening hours. My Son finds them down the road in the wee hours of the mornings wandering around and visiting the neighbors. He rises very early these days to check on Twizzler, I know what a name for a cow but its his favorite candy, who is due to freshen anytime now. She is a First Calf heifer so we are just a bit nervous about where she could drop this calf because it could be quite the trek to get them all back home safe and sound. Very soon it will be milking again both ends of the day. Keeps a young man busy and teaches responsibility and compassion. Oops the thunder is starting to roll, time to sign off...Have a wonderful evening!
