Hi!! Glad to hear from you. Talk about hauling coals to Newcastle! I hope you have a market for all those eggs you'll be getting.
I like Bantams. When I was a little kid, we had one Banty rooster among a two dozen Rhode Island Reds, hens and roosters. Unlike the Reds, the Banty could fly a little and the hens seemed to like mating with him more than the Red rooster. (Maybe he was less "obtrusive" so to speak) Anyways, when the big, Red, cuckolded roosters would chase him, he would fly to the roof of the garage and stare down at them.
Whenever we would come out of the house and see the him atop the garage we would know what he'd been up to. My ma named him "Brother Thaddius," only when I got older did I begin to appreciate her ironic streak.
Looking forward to hearing from you again. --Gary
