Eight new Bourbon Red poults....and these have done really well. We started them off with Karo syrup in their water and it seems to get them off to a good start. Our new Royal Palms are recovering from Fowl Pox that we unknowlingly brought onto the farm when we bought them from a farmer in Sanford. Thanks to the help of our Poultry agent we have survived the ordeal and now have a trio of Royal Palms that have developed immunity to the disease. They were not really sick, just looked awful and scared us to death.
