Let me see....
...wordpress.com is a site where you can go and set up a blog. They have templates you can use to set up your blog, as well as some artwork and photos, I think. Once it's set up, you can add a comment section for others to comment on your post. It will also link to your facebook and twitter accounts, if you have them. Through blogs, there is a chance that you can get advertisers on your blog and, if I am not mistaken, they pay like one to three cents per 'hit' if someone clicks on their ad. That's something you'll have to look into more thoroughly, though, because I'm not familiar with the ins and outs of adverstising yet. For the most part, wordpress (and blogspot.com - if you want something to compare) is free, but you can get advanced services for a small fee. If you do this I would recommend you get a counter to determine how many hits you are getting, because the advertisers look at this before they'll agree to advertising on your blog. Mine is still in the set up process because someone is helping me to move my site from a .com to wordpress.com, due to the high amounts of spam mail. It'll probably take me a while to get it set up, but once I do I am praying all the spam goes away, and I will reserve my site for future sales, if I ever go that route. Good luck and let me know what you think, or if I can help with it any further. BTW - if you do a site and need additional help preventing any spam, I HIGHly recommend Akismet. I think it comes with your wordpress account, but if not, and you need it, defintely go with them!
