Ducks and Chickens
Ducks do very well with chickens, and will sleep in the roost on the floor. 2 major issues we have faced: 1- the chickens poop on the ducks while they sleep. Gross. 2- the chickens will follow the ducks into their swimming pool or pond and can drown. ok there are actually 3. Sometimes a drake (male duck) can become "attracted" to one of the hens and will pull its neck feathers out as it attempts to mate. Its rare, but does happen. The biggest issue we ever faced was chicks drowning because they become too attached to the ducks.
