Hi! We like raising catfish, but have slowly but surely been edging out of that. We actually 'inherited' them when we bought the property, and thanks to an otter, we lost over half our stock a couple of years ago. I'm not really familiar with any books on the subject, but I do know we just mainly kept the pond aerated, and added water when the summer heat evaporates most of the pond. I do wish you luck with it, and let me know how y'all do. I may very well try to restock my pond with cats and try again!
