The goats found the farmers wheat
Our goats have always been allowed to be free-range, sometimes this is a good thing and sometimes not so much. We are surrounded on 3 sides from the same farmer. Nice enough guy. well, the goats were roaming the other day and they got a scent of the "wheat" the farmer is growing, and now I can't let them out of their pen because they go straight for it. They are stubborn little girls too. you start pulling on them to get them out, they will lay down and refuse to go anywhere. So I try to push and pull and yell but, Cheyenne, the one with horns, acts like she doesn't understand what in the world i am trying to do. So frustrating. So now they are spending thier days in the pen, crying and baaing like there is no tomorrow. Silly girls.
