Thanksgiving
So much to be thankful for this year. God has been so good. We have come through some hard times and God has allowed us to keep the farm together. He has brought a young lady here who wants to learn about the horses and has been working with them each week.
We did lose Dee this past year but had so many joyous with her and have her daughter Mirandy Rose to carry on her memory.
That has been one thing God has thought me this year. To be able to look at all things and try to see how they are all connected. How good can come out of things bad. Sometimes it's a very hard lesson.
Watching the farm grow and change has been amazing. Seeing the pastures take on a life of their own with no more help from me is refreshing. It was the best thing to start Bahia grass. Even now with just a few showers, the pastures are turning green again. So different than the years previous. We have been able to keep the weeds under control finally so hopefully will have a much better and thicker grass stand than even last year. We can now graze 6 horses on about 6 acres for 1 1/2 months before showing signs of wear.
Looking forward to a wonderful New Year developing.
