Welcom! We moved from the city to a 60 acre farm 9 years ago, and we haven't looked back yet! Have no worries - those few chickens will soon grow into a large flock, and will have plenty of brothers and sisters of other breeds before you know it. I have to almost physically restrain myself from buying all kinds of farm animals. Right now, we have chickens, cows (including one Jersey for milking) and are shopping for a breeding pair of pigs. I'm having to force myself to stay away from sheep and Angora goats for my spinning habit! Good luck with your farm.
