Well adding some sand to the chick feed was a no go. looking through the mesh they had enough feed to last the night and I did not want to open the brooder up and let the warm air escape.

P2 is having asthma probelms with this cool dry air. So taken him off feed duty until I can get his asthma under control.

Got the wet hay removed in shelter 3 last night and replaced with dry hay. Uhaul and Amy enjoyed the hay over the night that they were hard to wake up this morning for their feeding.

Coke is a HOG when it comes to feeding so she's lock up by herself when we feed. Hope this is a sign that she's settled and not needing an appointment date at the slaughter house. No babies by Apriln 2013, she's got a date though.

P2 show bulls have been let out into the pecan field, since the steers and growing bulls were moved to the chicken yard in rye grass. Maybe Spotswatch will tone up a little with the extra yardage.
