Wow, that's a lot of heat and a lot of rain! It must be so humid there right now!

Still quite cold here. We now have 3 frozen hydrants which makes it a big pain to give all the animals their water. I sure hope none of our pipes freeze!

Pippin, the adorably sweet fuzzy tiny little mini horse, was BAD yesterday! He lifted Eddie's (HUGE percheron) gate off it's hinges and let Eddie out of his pen.

So, Eddie and Pippin were free together in Pippin's pen. They were riling each other up and when I got out there I put Eddie back and fed Pippin.

Well, that nasty little thing kicked out as I walked behind him. Okay, so he was stilled riled up from fighting with Eddie. I can forgive that.

However, upon feeling his kick land home on me, he let out a SQUEAL, and kicked again as hard as he could in the same place. Man I was angry! There was no mistake in that second kick and I do not tolerate kicking. It's a very bad and dangerous habit.

So, I took back his feed bucket and didn't feed him again till 8pm that night. It was 3 pm so he had to wait 5 hours for his food.

Oh, he was so sweet when I came out to feed him again. He's a smart boy. He knew why I did it. And if I threaten to feel a tad sorry for him all I need to do is feel the pain in my knee and see the big black bruise he left. I sure am glad that Eddie doesn't do that!

Have a great weekend!
