Feb update
Hi Everyone,
I have updated my results so far with starting my little urban farm here in ABQ NM. The first round of seeds have sprouted and I am in the process of starting the transplanting of them. I also have purchased the seeds for the second round that will be mainly grown in containers since my soil is pure sand.
I have collected several used pots to grow the seeds in so it hasn't been as expensive as I thought it would be to get started. Plus it has helped with my PTSD since I am taking my time and working on something.
I has also started my research for canning and pressure cooking of the food so this has been a real learning experience for this month. I also would love to find out if we can grow chickens in town along with that process.
Any suggestions you experienced farmers have for me would be great so my blood pressure doesn't rise because I am messing something up on the farm lol.
Happy Farming everyone, Ronda
