good , he was impressed by the expansion of pens, the numbers of pigs that have been kept back. The fact that I am up to date with the vaccines and tagging of sows. Trying to get to the point where all the sows that are due farrow within a 24 hour period of each other and so can be sold with in a shorter period of time. They all need to be the same size when weaned or near enough the same size, Dont want sows interfering with other sows while farrowing and right now I have a huge problem with it. Am thinking about making up lick blocks for the sows that have plenty of salt in them and are set with concrete.( contains clay, lime and shale only) Will add it in to 1/2 a 44 gal drum and put over fence and have them plastic so that they dont push the drum on the fence and short it out. might give them some thing else to do rather than spend time calling baby pigs over and killing them.
