Thanks! Thanks for the info. If mom decides to get one, we'll search for one in the Southern (or at least, warmer) states, with the hope that he or she will already be semi adapted. Right now, she has a Belted Galloway. She's a city woman, but uses our farm to keep her cows -we raise polled Herefords and Angus. She chooses hers by their 'cuteness' and we choose ours by their beef. Right now I have a Jersey that we use for milk, but it will be mom's choice to milk or not to milk. We'll see. She's a crazy fun woman and their is no telling what she'll do!
