catching Chickens is the new urban workout! well...I named my Chickens...with the help of my daughter and neices...the Bantam rooster is Chick O'Lay the bantam hen is Peep and the other one is Shakira...the Wyandotte hen is Fat Amy....well...since im still new to Chickens this morning I left the gate open...and Fat Amy made a run for it....she may be fat but boy can she run...I was winded after 10 minutes of chaseing her so I waited awhile and recruited the teenagers...it was like a scene from Footloose....everyone tryin to catch that darn hen lol....finally we gave up and waited till tonight...she was in a chicken stupor up in the rafters so I sent my nephew up for her...after several hair raising moments and a few lost feathers we got her and im happy to say Fat Amy is safe in the Coop tonight....right about now im rethinking how bad do I REALLY want fresh eggs lol
