A little warmer today but not by much
Feeling a bit frustrated today as we discuss the farm produce and the problem of selling quality product for a realistic price. That is a price that accurately reflects the true cost of inputs (feed) and time caring for the animals. Not even looking at the costs of housing, fencing, or other infrastructure issues such as feed bins to hold the feed ordered in bulk and having to be paid for well in advance of the usage and income from the finished product. What we see is that people are not willing to pay a reasonable price for non-FACTORY products. Very disheartening. Provide quality, fresh safe food but expected to do so for free.
