Thank you for the welcome!
I'm still nervous a bit because our chickens still have not laid eggs at all, yet. We bought them when they were a bought 2-3 weeks old. Someone told me they could wait until a year to start laying, I read somewhere 18-22 weeks of age. They are a mix of a Golden Comet and a Rhode Island Red. So, I know they are both laying chickens. They are so sweet, you can handle them, and my son can hand feed them worms. It's too cute!
