Winter Issues
Thank you for the wonderful suggestions on how to keep my guineas warm. I have never had any outside/outbuilding animals before so really am not good at figuring out what will be good and what won't be good for them. I did know about the fresh water, bedding, and food. Apparently, the guineas can be out in the snow so I guess they aren't as fragile as I'm making them out to be, huh? We were thinking of perhaps putting a small heater in the storage room . . . there is a screened window between the storage room and the coop itself . . . but again don't know the ins and outs of it all. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great, too. Sounds like your days are still nice as could be for your area. Is this weather usual? Because we are having unusually warm weather for November in the Kentucky hills. Take care and thanks again for the suggestions.
Ruth
