do you want some advice? take care of your equipment,
don't lose it, (after all these years my crew still leaves my stuff in the field - makes me crazy)
keep track of what you spend quarterly,
find a market for those veggies and flowers, find out what your customers want,
and then be prepared to do something entirely different from what you thought your 'business plan' would be.
I will retire form landscaping next year (25 years),
I love it, but I've been scaling back for some time now.
we will grow veggies for our CSA, and chefs, and
flowers for a few florists.
much smaller business now, but still have our big trees to sell for a while.
