We had a barn that old too, but during Hurricane Katerina she worked on that old barn until it gave up. Only the corner post stood tall and then the wind/rain picked up my husband great grand father's house and moved it to the east. P2 was 4 at the time and was in the middle of a melt down when he heard the tress falling. It was a bad time for everything. Once we got power back and GAS at the gas station, we ran to Lowes and got pilars for the house and extended the water/gas lines. It was a very sad day to see the old barn up in flames, but it saved our house. Once the barn fell like I said the house was shifted but we had a roof until the barn went then the shingles/tar paper was taken off as the house was shifted to the east.

P2 enjoys all his animals and now is getting in the grove of picking his chickens to sell, so he can make room for more in March. Got to keep the flock fresh Ma!

Hope you all have a great weekened.
