Bees
Hi - thx for visiting my farm. About the bees - I just got my first 2 hives in July. They are wonderful - very serene to tend the hives, hearing their industrious buzzing around me. I won't have a honey crop until spring - they need all they can make for winter. They don't need as much tending, normally, as other critters on the farm - a 2x monthly visit seems to be just fine, as long as everything is going fine. I found a local beekeeper who was happy to take me out to tend his hives, to find out if I really liked them. Then he sold me 2 hives at a very reasonable price. You may find someone in your area to do the same. Bees rock! LOL
