You are lucky to have a back porch like that. Ours faces the higway...LOL

20 acres to work with, well what do you all want to start with. If you are looking for something easy, chickens need a coop, food, water and a safe place to lay their eggs. Once you eat your homegrown eggs you'll never go back to the old g. store eggs. If you are looking for something bigger, go with pigs or a few cattle. Just remember that you can't just get one of anyhting you need two. They will compete for food and give each other companiship.

No know you all are that fair from us. We are about 30 to 40 minutes south of you. Depending on what you get behind that is.
