Well for two winters in a row we had snow that stayed for a while. Last winter was BAD by our standards. We got a total of three different snow falls that lasted for a day and THEN there was the week from down under to speak. It did not get above the 30's during the day and went in the teens at night with the artic jet stream. I busted ice three times a day for the animals and then still had trouble with the faucets blow off. Not a week I would like to repeat...LOL...
Our 9 yr old just loves the chicken train you've got going on behind you. He sold 8 hens, 2 pullets and had a hatch out in the incubator this week. He also lost "V" his black sex link pullet from an egg busting inside of her. So on our next order we will have to get just another black sex link for him. That's why I love to order from Ideal, I can order as few or as many of one breed we would like. But I think he's getting the egg hatching down pat now. He had 14 to break out in one day and that's his best record yet. But then again this is the first time he has put 2 dz eggs in the incubator at one time. It's been 4 or 5 when he able to trade for them.
I hope you all have a great weekend. Next week want be on because our son will have his show animals at the fair.
