Dua - the house chicken
Of our current chicken flock we have one young Rhode Island Hen (she was born this past Feb.) who escapes from the chicken yard everyday because she'd rather be around people than other chickens. When I'm outside working she follows me around like a dog. Will ride in the wheel barrow and now comes running when she sees I'm going into the house so she can follow me right in. Yesterday she found a dish of cat food in the kitchen and helped herself. Too bad chickens can't be housebroken as I think it would be a hoot to have a chicken for a house pet. Perhaps I could make her a diaper.
