February Storm of 2011
I believe the storm of the year is finally over. Here in Nebraska the snow accumulation was only about 12 inches but the wind chill was brutal with chill temperatures of -20+ recorded. The last couple days have been quite pleasant after being so cold with highs in the 30s above freezing. When melting happens during the day, the danger becomes thin layer ice called black ice on the streets during the freezing nights. I'm already getting set for the spring garden flurry. My favorite season is spring when everything is so fresh and new.
Have a great day.
