March 1, 2011 - Can you believe it's March?!?
Yesterday, I finally planted my herbs!!! Basil, oregano, tarragon, cilantro, and sage. I used a different method in planting so we’ll see if that works. When I was at a nursery I saw how they planted parsley and I’m trying it…Hopefully, I will have a good yield. Today, I planted some birdhouse gourds. What a beautiful day! It started out a little rainy and cloudy, but it was absolutely beautiful this afternoon. A cold front came through, bringing a nice refreshing breeze. I’m going to get some top soil tomorrow and work on my new herb beds. I’m soaking some nasturtium seeds overnight , hoping to plant those tomorrow. Did you know you can eat nasturtiums?!? They look great on a salad! My mama-in-law told me about these! I hope mine look as great as hers did!
