Hi!
Good Morning to you. My loom is a 4 shaft, it is an Orco, it is a work horse for making rugs. I have been making rag rugs probably 20 years. I also sell them I have 2 other looms, a Toika which is 8 shafts but you can add to it, it is very large, and an Allen which is a small folding loom. I have fun with all of them. I do not join my weft, I trim them to a wedge an overlap about 1 1/2 inches. I have found that to be just as efficient and strong. I use all fabrics and recycled clothing. I use 8/4 cotton/poly for warp and get it from Great Northern Weaving..you can google them. They sell it on huge spools but it is not on their website, you have to call them. They are very nice folks to deal with. Spinning is also fun and a great satisfaction when you knit or crochet with your own made yarn. If I can be of more help just ask. I love your verse and your picture! Maryanne
