Not many shepherds
Mopple here. There aren't a lot of wool sheep here in the southern Ozarks, either. There are quite a few hair sheep, though. It's pretty hot for wool sheep and hard to find someone to shear them. The man who shears my sheepy friends travels all over the United States to shear.
I am the only all hair sheep here. Old Angel is half Wiltshire Horn and half something else, so if she isn't shorn, her fleece starts coming off. But some spots hang on and she looks pretty raggedy, so Mom has the shearer shear her.
Love,
Mopple
