We have Bourban Red turkeys that we bought locally and they have been exciting to watch grow up. We bought a male and famale and ended up with two hens when our tom turned into a hen. We did have to invest more to get a tom because by then the girls were pretty old and we wanted the tom to mature out at the same time as the hens. We have really enjoyed this heritage breed.
