Ducks and Chickens
Hi! That is exciting you are looking into getting some birds! We love our ducks and chickens. For chickens, we have Brahmas, Plymouth Rocks, Sexlinks, and a couple Ameraucanas. The Brahmas, Plymouths, and Sexlinks are very hardy, friendly, and good producers.
Our ducks are Pekins and Rouens. These are very common breeds, and are good producers. However, if you plan on hatching ducklings and don't want to incubate them, don't get Pekins. They are known to not sit on their nest(ours don't either). We have incubated the eggs, and really enjoy watching the babies hatch, and it is such a learning experience!
Hope this helps!
