Wagyu and Highland cattle I'd love to hear from anyone who has or does keep either of these breeds. I like the Highlands for their sturdiness in colder regions, and their easy calving traits. I'd like to try some Wag embryos in a Highland, as the wags tend to have low birth weights. I'm thinking the Highlands would make great surrogates. Wags are just so expensive to buy and my research is pointing toward using the embryo route to get my Wag herd started. I also am interested in crossing the two for beef production. Any thoughts?
