coyotees Hope all is well and happy your dogs and goats are alright.You know,you did the right thing by yelling at them,it works, when you don't have a gun on you.Coyotees do leave when you yell and scream.But they will be back unfortuantly.It is that time of year when they need food.I deal with coyotees here everyday all seasons.My dogs are larger and protect me although I call them back when the coyotees are around.My dogs do let me know when coyotees are around as sometimes they are difficult to see in the brush.I am just thankful rattlesnake season is over I am more fearful of them than the coyotees by far. I know how it is to hand break ice on water troughs in the winter.I am fortunate to have tank heaters now (with alot of extention cords LOL)Know what it is like to live completely off the grid with no power and having livestock to care for but thank goodness not now. Keeping warm,ready for winter,winter is going to be early with these cold temps.Take care.
