Midget Whites I don't know off hand how big midget whites get, but they stay smaller than other types of turkeys. They are small enough that they continue to be able to fly as adults. Mine roost on top of a six-foot fence, and they regularly go in and out of the pasture on their own. I kept their wings clipped for a while, but we actually lost more of them to predators then since they could not get up and out of reach. I am hoping that they raise lots of babies on their own next spring, because I did not do a very good job. Of the 16 poults we started with, only 4 are still alive.Come visit me, Lane's End Farm.

Hello, do you have a suggestion on a white egg laying chicken breed that isn't solid white? We have a white sex link name Dovey and she along with the rest free range during the day. Dovey has fallen in love with the Mississippi red clay that's in the woods and we can keep her clean unless we cage her and that's not going to happen here unless they are sick. Thanks for you time. Come visit me, The Homestead.

Thanks for the warm welcome You seem to have many farms, chickens, cattle, goats and more. Are they all at one place or do you work from many farms. I welcome the time I have many different farm animals. And that I might even be able to make a profit at farming. Right now just beef cows and soon chicks. Thanks again for the welcome. Hope all you places do well.Come visit me, High Rail Ranch.

Thx for the comment My husband took that pic right after a quick summer shower that only lasted about ten minutes. There was another rainbow off to the right further away but this was the best pic for actually seeing the closer one. I recently lost my job due to our lovely economy- store closed that I managed- so hope to keep learning and meeting people to learn from so we can keep our "alternative" pets happy and healthy. Always a rainbow with every storm? More time to do something I actually love doing now! Nice dog pic, 16 is up there for a husky so must be well loved ; )Come visit me, JandA Alternative.

Thanks for the compliment My bunnies are very photogenic. I even have friends come at Easter to have pictures taken with the rabbits. I would love to have chickens also, but we have a big coyote problem and no good way to confine the chickens at night. Luckily, I have several friends who have country eggs I can get.Come visit me, Threepines.
