We used to live in Eastpoint in the Panhandle. Really nice in Florida. We just moved to the country here but have always gardened and had chickens. We are not ready for chickens here yet as winter is on the way but no coop yet. A greenhouse coming soon!Come visit me, Garlic Joe's Organic Farm.

We both have pigs and chickens. We have 10 acres; how much land do you have? Our pigs are feeder pigs to be butchered in November. Our pigs are Duroc/Hempshire mix. Our chickens are Rhode Island Reds and Light Brahmas. They are both dual purpose birds. Last year our pigs were a Blue Butt/ Yorkshire mix. They finished at 260 and 320 pounds on the hoof. Looks like summer here :-)
Those eggs are the clutch that one of my sneaky ducks managed to hide away from me. I found them in a corner of the goat shed. She managed to hatch out one lone little duckling. I decided to make sure that no more of that happened until spring when the duck pond was scheduled to be finished.Come visit me, Dunwurkin.
