Years I’ve been farming: 25 years old
Animals I raise: Currently we have 9 of our own horses(quarter horses,arabians- , misouri fox trotters, and appaloosas), 3 horses that board here(tennesse walkers, paso fino), 1 chicken, and 5 bobcat kittens.
Hobbies I enjoy: Our stable offers trail rides, lessons, and boarding. The trail rides vary from 1 hour to the whole day, and are always leaded by an experienced guide. These trails go through historic logging trails in the Pinnacle Mountian area, and cross Galley Falls. We are open year around, and take calls for appointments to ride.
When we are not taking out trail rides you can find us just having a good old time with our friends, family, and horses. Whether it's discovering new trails, taking grandbabies on pony rides, or just singing around the guitar, we'll have a smile on our face. This is our life - and we love it!
Club/Associations memberships: Our riding stable is located within Table Rock Resort, but is also open to the public. In the past we've participated in the annual Christmas parades in town.
The proudest moment on my farm: Every day is a proud moment for us, because every day we are able to fufil someone's dream of finially riding a horse; whether for the first time in 20 years or the first time in their life. I love seeing their expressions changing from a little nervous before the ride, to hugging all over the horse they rode. It's a true privilage.
Pets: We've kind of adopted this chicken that likes to sleep with the little litter of bobcat kittens that we also have.
