Good question!
Have you gotten a show catalog? Are egg competetion mentioned in it? If not, your show may not be having an egg show.
I, personally, have never been to a poultry show that had an egg show... but I have heard about them. They are certainly more popular outside of America, and, I think, in the northern states. Thank you both! This rooster is a Black Tailed White Japanese rooster. He is Bantam sized... but that is the only size the Japanese breed comes in...
