Nothing misleading about your info...you don't have to be a professional breeder to give out hints and tips to make life easier! And if you've had one for 11 years, I'd say you were doing something right!! :)

You actually helped a lot, just talking about yours! I can't wait for this spring so I can order a youngster to grow! I think maybe starting out with a chick will make it more tame than just buying an adult bird. Of course, I'm sure we take our chances with it not making it; we can but try! We take chances with anything that's living.
That's odd that they don't get along with the chickens. Hmmm. Maybe they're feeling territorial. Males. Ha.!

There are so many things I'd like to do/have!!! Problem is I can only accomplish one thing at a time and it never seems fast enough!! haha. Not enough hours in a day.... oh woe is meeeeee! :)

Thanks for the info, I enjoyed hearing from you!

Beautiful sunset photo!!! Love the animals.....
Can you give some thoughts on raising peacocks? I've been wanting one (or two) but my husband tells me they're difficult to keep/raise.
Thanks for any info; welcome to HobbyFarms!
