  Cute name
What a cute name for your farm, though it doesn't sound like you are doing much procrastinating. Blessings, Teresa

  Mornin', Niki!
Redwork is simply embroidery done all in red thread. It used to be a popular craft, but dwindled out. It's being brought back to life -- in fact a lot of the farm girls on one of my forums does it. I'm kinda like you. I like to do way too many things for my pocketbook to support, but my first love has to be weaving, when it comes to crafts. I also love to make soap, but haven't done it in a little while. Your daughter sounds talented! I'm teaching myself to knit -- and if you ever saw any of my projects, you'd know I was self taught (some are pretty pathetic, but at least I'm having fun)!!!! Down here, we just really don't have a winter. It snowed and stuck for the first time in years this year, but it only lasted until about noon. On the other hand, we get to deal with summers that are 105 degrees and above, and super humid. Which is why I garden mostly in the wee hours of the mornings. Today, it's a beautiful high 40's and sunshiny. Tomorrow it's supposed to rain -- again. And you're right. Just about anywhere you go, you can find beauty -- both simple and complex -- which to me, is why this world is really a great place. Have a great day!

  HI, Niki!
I'm willing to bet Fort St. Johns is just as beautiful! And I fully understand that procrastination thing. My husband and I suffer the same illness, many a day! And there is something to be said for living just for the day. If you would like to, tell me more about the crafts you do. As a crafty person myself, I'm always interested in what others are doing! Hope you have a great day!

  Love it!
Great picture! Is that St. Johns, Newfoundland? If so, I've been there, and it is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I'm a crafter, as well, loving to weave, knit, soap, candles, want to learn to weave baskets, and all kinds of other crafts. I really want to learn to make cheese, and that's the next thing on the list -- we're looking for a Jersey cow first, and then I'm thinking goats. Welcome!
