FFA My kids are both still in 4H and were FFA members in high school. I've alway said my kids learned more life skills in those two organizations than they did in school. This year will be the 15th year they've shown sheep and the 4th for hogs. Always glad to see someone else involved in the same programs.Come visit me, Elmcrest Acres.

My goats had little goats! Two of my three goats kidded today. One had twin girls, the other had twin boys! They're so sweet! Come visit me, Grandma's Farm, Tibbs Farm, Allen's Farm & FFA SAE (supervised agricultural experience).

Comment about the picture: the goats in this picture are very far apart in age. Mine, on the right, was born the Feb. before that July, while the other two were born in September, so don't think mine is a midget! She was just a lot younger than all of the other does at the fair, so they stuck her in with older ones that she just couldn't compare to. (By the way, anyone else annoyed by sheep people coming in and bracing goats? Several people do that at my fair, even though it is officially discouraged. I personally don't actually brace, nor is anyone in this photo. I just sometimes stick my leg in front if the goat is trying to bolt out to the front, just for some control. That's what's happening here.) Come visit me, Grandma's Farm, Tibbs Farm, Allen's Farm & FFA SAE (supervised agricultural experience).
