  Hi!
Staying busy? It's like when you're in the middle of a blizzard and someone asks: "Is it cold enough for you?" Or it's 110 in the shade and the same someone asks: " Is hot enough for you?" It's been raining everyday for weeks here and guess what? I"m busy. Just not doing anything I want done! But, yes it's wet enough for me.

Come visit me, Larkshire Farm.

That's funny. I set out my blueberries last year. Had my first berries this year.. and of the three plants, each has about 5 berries on it. just funny. I think it takes time for them to get into "full production growth". I've not read it, but it seems that way. Sort of like fruit and nut trees really don't make much or anything edible for a few years.

Doing a few things around Camp Kathy this morning before getting back into the heels to meet with a business client this afternoon. Hoping for some rain to give the garden a drink and to break this heat! Grateful for how well the garden is doing so far. Making sauce out of zuchinni and summer squash from garden to pour over angel hair pasta and serving mixed greens also from the garden on the side for dinner tonight.
Everyone take care today!

  Rabbits
Thanks for stopping by!
Our rabbits are not meat breeds, although I know several people that raise them for food. I've eaten rabbit a few times, but don't think I could raise my own for food!

  Grass is way too long!!
My grass is way longer than I like it to be in the yard. I like it short. Not only because I like a nice neat looking farm but I have a TERRIBLE phobia of snakes. Unfortunately, I still need grass clippings for 3 of my 9 garden plots. Plan is for the hubby and I to mow on Sunday before it rains again. We split the yard and that way it only takes each of us about 2-1/2 hours. I will get off the mower and turn boy child loose with the sweeper and weed around the cukes and tomatoes so he can then spread the grass clippings for weed and moisture control. We already took care of the other plots. Then, and only then, do I get to get my 2 times a week mowed nice clipped lawn back for the rest of the season!

Take care all and thanks for all the comments. Keep them coming! Love to here from you all!
