Animals I raise: Chickens

Crops I grow: Producing Maple syrup from the maple trees in our sugar bush.
Vegetable garden,fruit trees,herbs.

Hobbies I enjoy: Cooking, baking, canning, sewing, knitting, spinning, weaving, gardening, photography.

The proudest moment on my farm: Was when it was ours. This has been a dream of ours and now that dream has come true.

Pets: Chocolate Lab named Sadie

Our chicks are due to arrive in about 3 weeks and we can't wait. This will be a first for us raising meat birds, and we are so excited about it all.

thanks for you compliment on the photos... i love our life.. and i love showing it to others.
it can be overwhelming when you start cows..but it is so much fun.. and they are very personable.. i love our cows.. even if they are going to be butchered. i am glad that we can give them a nice peaceful and healthy life, ya know.

i love your two photos!! after reading your page, i relate alot to you.. we started with chickens before we went into beef cattle, .... once you have cows you will always want them.. good luck!

Love the picture! I'm also a weaver, and love it! Are you planning on learning to spin, as well? I also love to can, bake, garden and cook, and I'm trying to teach myself to knit, however, no one in their right mind would want to wear one of my projects!
