  I'm Back....
Big changes here on the farm. First, there has been a name change along with the company structure. We went from Goway Farm to Burton Family Farm. The name has changed but the people have stayed the same.
I am FINALLY going to break ground on my house this year and my dream will come true, full time living at my property.

  Hunting on the farm
Looks like a good deer harvest on the farm. What I couldn't believe was how many turkeys my trail cameras have picked up. Looks like a boom year for turkeys in the spring.

I have several different types, primarily Sangiovese. I only have 100 vines in and next year most should produce usable grapes for wine. I also planted 25 berry plants but the heat and dry conditions took out some of them. I will replant more next spring.

Grapes! What kind of grapes? I hope that you make wine with them! Although I don't have grapes I dabble in wine making and have begun my first batch of blackberry and blueberry wine this summer. Only time will tell if we try that again! :)
