Hi! We have purchased bred and milking does. If you take precautions, transporting short distances shouldn't be a problem. Find someone close by to help with your first kiddings. Even if it's just stand-by moral support!Come visit me, Larkshire Farm.

Thanks for your answer, our son had 16 copper maran chicks and three died and we did not know what the babies would turn into. Does your lay the same color eggs or each on has a differnet tint to them? Come visit me, The Homestead.

Good Morning! Re: goats. Do you want meat, milk, or both? How many people are in your family? 1st, I would read everything I could get my hands on. Set your pen up, pretend you're a goat and look for any possible way out, and of getting hurt. I would talk with your County extension office, ask them about breeders your area. Buy two, they are very social animals and can pine away without company. I would start with 2 doelings. Use an outside buck. Bucks can be hard to deal with, especially for only a couple of does.Come visit me, Larkshire Farm.
