  Thanks for the welcome
I love the photo too...my wife took it after a huge storm.

We have 7 barred rock hens, 5 mixed hens, and 1 BIG mixed rooster.

I'm a school teacher by trade, so yes...I do know how hard it is to get a "child" (at heart:) to school on a day like that!

Come visit me, Mowery Ponderosa.

Hello and welcome, LOVE the photo.

What breed are your chickens?

Our son just sold 8 layen hens and 2 pullets. He has 2 dz eggs in his incubator and 1 was trying to break out before he went to school. Do you know how hard it is to get a child to school, with one breaking out. Boy oh boy he used everything out of the book on why he should be at home instead of school. Never mind it may take the 1st 12 hrs to break out...LOL

Come visit me, The Homestead.
